Digital Counties Survey Winner (Nevada County)

Nevada County was awarded Second Place in the 2004 Digital Counties Survey, sponsored by the Center for Digital Government and the National Association of Counties (NACo). The award is for empowering citizens by giving them access to the widest range of services online. Nevada County's category is the 'Under 150,000' citizens (88% of US Counties).

The Healthcare Advertising Agencies Group (HAAG) give out annual awards for the best use of Media in the Healthcare Sector.

The UK Bausch & Lomb site picked up 2 awards in the 2003 ceremony - a Silver award in the Consumer New Media category (Cat 5) and a Bronze award in the Mixed Media category (Cat 9).

Nevada County is recognised by two prestigious government IT associations - the Center for Digital Government, and the California County Information Services Directors Association (CCISDA).

The first of two awards, this one is for 'Most Innovative Use of Technology' and is conferred for 'new (cutting edge) technologies deployed in a Department/Agency(s) and on existing technology utilized in an innovative manner.'

Nevada County gains a second award from the CCISDA for the 'Best Application Serving the Public'.
